    Our Color Advisory process is an immersive, creative exploration shaped by consultation and conversation. We help you dial in your color preferences using artistic intuition and methodology, technical color science and mathematics. Each color palette is carefully crafted into a harmonious atmosphere, anywhere from soft and subtle, to big loud and bold.

The approach here was to use finishes and fixtures that would create a timeless, more permanent foundation for the space, then to add in louder, bolder styles in areas that could be adjusted or changed out later (wallpaper, lit-disco ball, styling elements).

    Curtis Weaver (owner of Solid 5 Design) worked for over a decade in Fine Art collection care, placement and installation in the greater Los Angeles area. Clientele ranged from Beverly Hills mansions, housing blue chip and museum caliber art collections, to fun beach house vibes, rich with style and intent, to couples with starter homes who just acquired a family heirloom artwork and weren’t quite sure what to do with it.

    The previous six years before starting Solid 5 Design, Curtis worked in exhibition design and planning for The Broad Art Museum in Downtown LA.
